This is a well attended annual Tribal Belly Dance Fesitval with stage performances going all day long continuously.
One day shoot in April in Thousand Oaks area. Shoot 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Stationary tripod set up - your equipment.
Take orders from various dancers and troupes who want a professional copy of their performances on DVD. Usual price $20-$25 per. Income is dependent on number of orders.
You would be an Independent Contractor/Vendor. No staff will be provided to you. You keep all the money. It's a sweet deal. Our regular videographer has moved to another state.
Contact me p.m. for additional details if interested.
Profession product will be expected.

Sun, January 13, 2008 - 1:34 AMHi Desiree!
I may be interested, and have shot many BD productions (shooting dance isn't the same as shooting movies, and involves anticipating the next moves and a good feel for the dance during the editing process). I'll PM you to talk more..
Cheers,
:-) Rob
PS Here's a short 4-minute snippet of the Norther Migration 2007 (NOMI) tribal Bellydance Festival I shot last July. Obviously, it's reduced YouTube quality, only 4 minutes of the 2+ hr show, and this version uses royalty-free music rather than the CD audio we used for the actual DVD: www.youtube.com/watch
